Eristica is a challenge-oriented P2P platform. Eristica integrates an in-app interface so that users can purchase ERT tokens from exchanges at real-time prices. Users can make payments via an attached credit/debit card, local payment or cryptocurrency. This will continue to increase the demand for ERT tokens, increase the liquidity of ERT tokens, and promote the sustainable development of the Eristica community.
Eristica is a revolutionary P2P platform that drives participation in challenges and online competitions. The project was launched in 2015 and currently has more than 1.2 million users.
The platform allows each participant to initiate and accept challenges, provide video recordings of completing challenges, and get ratings based on results.
Eristica users can also generate viral content, with challenging videos gaining millions of views on YouTube and winners becoming celebrities. The rating, reputation and ranking system forms a powerful incentive mechanism to allow players to actively participate. Competitive incentives allow players to compete for the top few in the ratings, pursuing fame and bonuses.
With the help of blockchain technology, the Eristica project intends to overcome the obstacles faced by the industry and create a single ecosystem for offline and online competitions.
Tokenization of the platform economy will provide opportunities to win challenges, receive virtual rewards from successful predictions, and purchase all services that use the platform.
Eristica is a universal platform where every member of the community can benefit from the synergies created within the ecosystem.
This project started in 2014 as an idea. It was at that time that Eristica founder Nikita Akimov began to research the prototype of the application, form teams, and experiment in finding the best ways to interact with the challenging community.
In 2015, the first public version of the Eristica app began to be downloaded on Google Play and iTunes.
In August 2016, the project participated in the Entrepreneurship Competition organized by Winter Capital Venture Fund and McKinsey Consulting. The Eristica team shared the first place with two other projects, earning a $75,000 bonus. This was the first major recognition of the project, and it was also in this year that the project became popular with 500,000 users.
In early 2017, the Eristica team focused on the rapidly growing Southeast Asia and India region, known for its high demand for local entertainment content. This is one of the reasons why Eristica was invited to participate in the acceleration program of Mobile Only Accelerator (MOX) 10, a startup managed by SOSV11 fund.
This market is both an opportunity and a technical challenge for Eristica. The application has been redeveloped to work in low-speed internet areas:
•The size of the application has been reduced to 7mb.
•Mobile phone RAM consumption decreases
•Eristica application optimizes work in 2G network areas.
In mid-2017, the project team successfully completed the project at SOSV accelerator, one of the world's largest venture capital funds. SOSV Fund ranks No. 12 in the "Early Stage Investment" rating, leading other top giants such as YCombinator and 500 Startups.
SOSV helps reach an agreement with major electronics manufacturers (OEMs) to pre-install Eristica apps on new smartphones sold in countries such as India, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines and Russia.
