tBTC is an ERC-20 token fully backed by Bitcoin, pegged to the price of Bitcoin. It facilitates Bitcoin holders to act on the Ethereum blockchain and access the decentralized finance (DeFi) ecosystem. tBTC is an open source project supported by projects such as Keep, Summa a and Cross-Chain Group.
