Rocket Pool ETH (rETH) is the protocol's liquidity collateral token. rETH tokens represent the amount of ETH being staked and earn rewards in the Ethereum Proof-of-Stake. As Rocket Pool node operators stake, the resulting rewards increase the value of rETH relative to ETH. Rocket Pool’s liquid staking tokens allow holders to benefit from Ethereum proof-of-stake returns and participate in synthetic DeFi glory in the short term.
