RFD was created by Blurr, a mysterious 2017 OG whale. The purpose of the project is still up for speculation, but the leading theory is that Refund is a response to ben.eth’s infamous psyop token, as it was launched a day after it. The community has run the project spontaneously, while Blurr has largely remained in the background, sending messages on the blockchain.
