The Rakein Protocol is a lending protocol that enables users to lend and borrow various cryptocurrencies and NFTs on Chromia's blockchain using variable interest rates. In addition to the typical features seen on other protocols like Aave, Rakein includes notable differentiating features like multiple pools and NFT collateral. Additionally, end users do not need to pay for gas.
Rakein leverages the native token RAKE to provide governance to holders. When the DAO launches, RAKE can also be used for staking to earn protocol fees and RAKE rewards.
