Project Introduction

PRIZM is a 100% Proofofstake cryptocurrency based on NEXT kernel, built on Java with open source code. The unique PRIZM algorithm—Proof of stake algorithm is not based on any practical concept of “coin age” and can resist the so-called “nothing at Stake” attack. The total number of available coins is allocated in the Genesis module. Curve25519 encryption is used to balance security and required processing power, as well as the more commonly used SHA256 hashing algorithm.

PZM will redistribute transaction fees that will be rewarded to the account when the block is successfully created through merger. This process is called forgery, similar to the concept of "mining" used by other cryptocurrencies. After confirming 10 blocks, transactions are considered safe, and the current architecture and block size of PZM allow up to 367,200 transactions to be processed per day. PZM includes implementations of transparent forging, which can increase transaction performance by two orders of magnitude by using generative algorithms that are deterministic blocks, combined with other security mechanisms of the network.
