MWC (MimbleWimbleCoin) was created in February 2019 and launched in November 2019 as a fork of Grin to create more investment-worthy MimbleWimble tokens by increasing the supply cap. Additionally, a "HODL program" was created to reward holders who do not move coins within a specified period, with additional tokens paid out, and the development team is working hard to integrate the latest features into the wallet, including multi-signatures and atomic swaps. Of the 20 million MWC that will exist, 6 million (30%) were airdropped to BTC holders – over a million (10%) for the MWC HODL program.
