Mask Network is a portal that helps users seamlessly transition from Web2.0 to Web3.0. It allows users to seamlessly send encrypted information, cryptocurrencies, and even decentralized applications (such as DeFi, NFT and DAO) on the platforms of traditional social giants; thus, users can create a decentralized application ecosystem.
Mask Network aims to become the sum of the bridges for Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 (Web 3.0 subfields include DID, NFT, DAO, DeFi, cross-chain, etc.), but they are still in the early stages. The difference from some projects is that Mask Network will not directly try to "subvert" existing centralized giants, but instead gives a massive number of users on existing giant platforms (such as Twitter and Facebook) one more choice in the form of providing tools. It hopes that in this way, it can migrate users from Web 2.0 to the Web 3.0 era more smoothly.
Strictly speaking, Mask Network is not a blockchain project in the traditional sense at this stage. It has no coins or chains. But it is connecting with blockchain in a unique way and will be built on the Ethereum ecosystem in the future.
The vision of Web 3.0 has a very big intersection with blockchain: embracing decentralization, decentralization, resistance to censorship, data sovereignty, etc. It includes leveraging existing networks and completely new decentralized network architectures (such as decentralized alternatives to HTTP and DNS) in a decentralized way.
Mask Network has selected several points in Web 3.0 as the main direction of exerting force (including but not limited to):
•Establish a decentralized digital identity to protect the ownership and use of data;
• Through cryptography and blockchain technology, we ensure the storage, privacy and dissemination of information and files such as texts and pictures;
•Reduce the threshold for obtaining and managing digital assets, improve the freedom of payment, etc.
