Linera is working on developing a next-generation decentralized protocol based on FastPay.
The Linera blockchain aims to popularize this approach and bring it to production, enabling most account-based operations to be confirmed within a fraction of a second.
The Linera project will develop and promote a new execution model suitable for linear scaling. In such a model, operations on different user accounts would by default run concurrently—that is, in different threads of execution.
