ImpactMarket is a decentralized anti-poverty system. It is an open, free and borderless crowdfunding infrastructure that enables any community to deploy mechanisms like an unconditional basic income for beneficiaries, accounting for 26% of all USD transfers on the Celo network.
Anyone can support these communities by sending $cUSD (Celo Dollar) directly to their contracts. Beneficiaries from different communities can periodically receive $cUSD from their community contracts. UBI parameters take into account the basic needs of beneficiaries and are assessed by local social organizations and community leaders.
