Hemi Network is a modular two-layer agreement designed to achieve excellent expansion, security and interoperability, supported by BTC and Ethereum. Other projects view bitcoin and Ethereum as orphan islands of the ecosystem, while Hemi sees them as components of a single super network. This opens up higher standards of programmability, portability and potential. At the heart of Hemi is the Hemi Virtual Machine (hVM), which integrates a complete bitcoin node in the Ethereum Virtual Machine. Combined with the Hemi Bitcoin Suite (hBK), developers can create Hemi decentralized applications (hApps) on a familiar and powerful platform.
