GHO (pronounced as [go]) is a decentralized, over-collateralized stablecoin with fully supported assets, transparent and open, and native to the Aave protocol. It aims to maintain pegged value to the US dollar. Users can cast GHOs as needed, but the total casting volume is limited by the upper limit set by Aave governance. Its stability is guaranteed by the inherent market efficiency and excess mortgage mechanism of the Aave agreement.
