Cryptopay has been operating since 2013 and is one of the earliest digital currency service providers in Europe. It serves the digital currency world widely - providing merchants with Bitcoin trading services, and on this basis creates a pure digital asset wallet, supports prepaid cards and payment services. Cryptopay wallet allows users to easily trade bitcoin and fiat currencies, especially the pound, the dollar and the euro.

Project Introduction

Cryptopay's philosophy of issuing cryptocurrencies is to provide a seamless exchange between crypto assets and traditional assets. As of now, Cryptopay provides the function of consuming, storing and trading digital currencies. Cryptopay wallets allow users to easily trade between Bitcoin and fiat currency, especially the pound, the dollar and the euro. The wallet service is also supplemented by a prepaid card, allowing users to quickly deposit and withdraw funds stored in cryptocurrencies. In the future, we will launch a service that allows users to access stocks and be able to have transactional accounts.

Application Scenarios

Bitcoin Wallet
Cryptopay wallet is the core product and the basis of all existing paid services. Currently, it offers custodial Bitcoin wallets (Ethereum, LiteCoin and Ripple soon) and integrated simple transaction services. To further facilitate users, Cryptopay has launched a Flex account - an instant redemption option. Whenever a user sends Bitcoin to one of these currency-denominated accounts, Bitcoin can be converted instantly without any additional manual conversion.

CPAY Prepaid Card
The Cryptopay prepaid card was launched in early 2015 and is one of the first digital currency cards on the market. This card is a tool that really brings Bitcoin to the mainstream. Bitcoin holders consume their coins anywhere they accept traditional payment cards, whether they are online or offline. This works with a digital wallet, allowing users to use their Bitcoins in their daily lives.

Merchant handling
The Bitcoin Payment Gateway is Cryptopay’s first product released in 2013. We have begun to provide acceptance/send Bitcoin as a payment method for high-risk merchants (gaming, etc.) without the risk of holding Bitcoin. Most merchants use our API, with SLA guarantee, and we have developed some features to meet their special needs.
