Cosmochain is a blockchain-based beauty industry ecosystem that connects beauty industry participants who need reliable customer data to customers willing to share their ideas about cosmetics. Cosmochain’s goal is to rebuild the entire value chain of the cosmetics industry.
Reorganize information in the beauty industry to create a “consumer-centric” database to develop a new ecosystem that connects consumers to suppliers.
There are various points of contact between consumers and suppliers in the beauty industry, ranging from traditional media to various social media, online communities, and online/offline distribution channels. However, because each marketing and distribution channel has unique ownership of unshared information, the information generated in each point of contact is dispersed rather than interconnected. This is why "consumers" have difficulty finding meaningful information for themselves in a lot of information, while "suppliers" cannot fully understand their consumers.
Cosmochain aims to reorganize information in the beauty industry into a “consumer-centric” database and create new value by connecting consumers with suppliers. To realize its vision, Cosmochain will build an ecosystem that is structured to facilitate a smooth exchange of value between consumers and suppliers who initially lack a point of contact. In the process, Cosmochain implemented a model that utilizes tokens to ensure liquidity of funds and uses minted tokens to accelerate the reorganization of information into a consumer-centric database.
Transparent Distribution
If the company leverages information provided or created by the customer, the information provider will receive rewards using the blockchain in a completely transparent manner.
Share Rewards
For business models that use such information to create additional value on their own, both the platform and data providers should share rewards to continue to improve the platform.
Ecosystem Operation
Company participants contribute to the stable operation of the Cosmochain ecosystem by actively and equitably using customer data.
The area where the agents are used in Cosmochain is roughly divided into two parts: the ecosystem, consumers, brands, distributors and consumer platforms participate in it to exchange value with each other; market, market participants can freely transfer or exchange agents.
As for exchanges in the market, holders of the agent can exercise their rights according to their free will. However, in the ecosystem, there must be regulations that protect the rights of each player, and structures that can limit the transfer of tokens according to regulations. To this end, Cosmochain constructs and operates two tokens that can be used in each sector, and an interface that performs conversion between the two tokens.
• CP (Cosmo Point): CP is a proxy used as a medium of value exchange in the ecosystem. Its value ratio to COSM (Cosmo Coin) is 1:1, and its total supply matches the total supply of COSM. Each user can earn or use CP based on the value exchange method defined within the ecosystem. To use CP for purposes within the ecosystem (such as redemption or transfer with other goods), it needs to be converted to COSM.
• COSM (Cosmo Hardware): COSM is a token used in the market and can be exchanged freely between users. In order to use COSM for ecosystems, it needs to be converted to CP.
To make efficient conversions between COSM and CP, Cosmochain utilizes a combination of smart contracts and an account called CEC (Cosmochain exchange counter). The CEC acts as an intermediary bank between COSM and CP and handles the conversion from COSM to CP or from CP to COSM according to the request of some users, and performs the conversion with the action of sending the required number of tokens.
This type of structure makes it easy for everyone to identify the overall process and usage of the token. The amount of COSM held by CEC is always equal to the amount of CP circulating in the ecosystem, and similarly, the amount of CP held by CEC is always equal to the amount of COSM circulating in the market.
