The technology related to Bitpay Chain is designed and developed by Bitsun, a technology company under Bit Capital Holdings, entrusted by Bit Foundation. BitPay Chain took 18 months from design to development, with a total investment of tens of millions of yuan. It is scheduled to complete the development of the main chain in September 2019, and the official main network will be launched after the completion of the network test in November 2019.
