BCA is a 1:1 fork of Bitcoin at block 505888, with a total volume of 21 million. Supports isolation witness, lightning network, and cross-chain atomic exchange.
Bitcoin Atom (abbreviated as: BCA) is a fork of Bitcoin at a block height of 505888 at a height of 1:1, with a total volume of 21 million. Supports isolation witness, lightning network, and cross-chain atomic exchange.
By utilizing the so-called hybrid consensus, the BCA network is given additional assurance: both PoW and PoS models have been put into use, increasing network stability and reducing miners' capabilities, thus reducing the probability of attacks by 51%.
The Bitcoin Atom development team is underway to carry out LN implementations that allow instant offline atomic exchange. LN transactions are cheaper, more useful for smaller transactions, and have better privacy attributes.
By using the built-in hash time lock contract (HTLC) and its own HTLC API, Bitcoin Atom tries to undermine the way we exchange cryptocurrencies today, making it independent of middlemen and any centralized entities.
