AMP is a native staked token for the Flexa payment network. Flexa is a cryptocurrency payment network that makes it easier for merchants to accept cryptocurrency payments. Amp(AMP) is migrated from Flexacoin(FXC) at a 1:1 ratio.
AMP is the native token of the project. Current use cases for AMP include:
Collateral: On the Flexa payment network, the AMPs that users collateralize provide sellers with collateral for pending cryptocurrency payments. For each transaction, an AMP of equivalent value will be locked in the smart contract before confirming a cryptocurrency payment (such as Bitcoin). If the payment is not finally confirmed, the staked AMP token will be used to repay the seller.
Staking: Users can stake AMP to increase the capacity of the Flexa payment network. The mortgagee will receive a mortgage reward from the online transaction fees.
Governance: Users can vote on governance proposals, which will include future funding recipients, partnerships, cross-chain integration and DeFi collaboration.
This project consists of the following main components:
Flexa Payment Network: Flexa is a purely digital payment network. The Flexa network uses AMP to stake payments and enables users to use their digital assets in the real world.
Collateral Manager: Hosted account establishment has different rules and specifications that can be customized to suit a variety of use cases. Users can create a collateral manager with AMP as collateral for use in the application.
Token partition: Partitions in an AMP token contract allow different collateral managers to execute rules on separate, different spaces associated with the same numerical address. This enables users to "stake" the token without transferring it to a smart contract.
